Integrative Psychotherapy
I practice a 'whole-person' style of therapy that works with the connection between your mind, body, and your spirit. By weaving the wisdom of Eastern traditions with Western evidence-based approaches, we’ll look beyond just 'fixing' symptoms and into what actually sustains and preserves your vitality from the inside out.
-
This work is for anyone who
Feels "too much" or "not enough" for traditional therapy.
Is seeking a neuro-affirming space that honors their natural rhythm.
Wants to bridge the gap between their mental health and their spiritual path.
Is ready to stop "fixing" themselves and start belonging to themselves.
-
My approach is not one size fits all. We will collaboratively choose the modalities that feel most resonant for you, including:
Mindfulness-based Somatic Therapy
EMDR Trauma Therapy
Transperrapysonal / Existential
Internal Family Systems or Parts-Work
Expressive Arts Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
-
Our sessions offer a grounded, collaborative space where we can truly begin to make space for what’s present for you underneath the surface. We move at a pace that honors your nervous system, allowing insight to unfold naturally over time. This is a space where you are invited to come exactly as you are, knowing that your lived experience is respected and that bringing your whole self creates the foundation of everything we do.
EMDR Therapy
When the past constantly crashes into your present, moving forward can feel impossible. While traditional talk therapy provides valuable insight, some experiences stay "stuck" in a way that conversation alone cannot reach. To truly let go of distressing experiences, the brain often requires a different approach.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based treatment designed to help your nervous system complete the processing of traumatic or "stuck" memories. By targeting the physiological root of distress, EMDR allows your brain to do exactly what it was designed to do: heal itself, so you can finally feel present, resilient, and at peace.
-
EMDR is a highly effective, research-backed therapy for anyone who has experienced:
Complex Trauma (C-PTSD): Specialized support for those recovering from childhood trauma, neglect, or attachment wounds, as well as targeted healing for sexual trauma and religious trauma.
Post-Traumatic Stress (PTSD): Processing single-incident events such as car accidents, natural disasters, or sudden medical emergencies.
Depression and Anxiety: Calming the physical nervous system to reduce hyper-vigilance, burn-out, and the feeling of being constantly on edge.
Grief and Loss: Moving through the intense emotional charge of a significant life change when the pain feels "stuck."
Negative Self-Beliefs: Shifting deep-seated, internal narratives like "I am not safe," "I am a burden," or "It was my fault."
-
Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR does not require you to describe every painful detail of your past. Instead, we focus on the physical sensations and negative beliefs tied to those memories paired with bilateral stimulation, typically through guided eye movements or gentle taps, to engage both hemispheres of the brain. This rhythmic stimulation allows your nervous system to:
Access the Memory Safely: Bridge the gap between the "stuck" emotional memory and your logical, present-day awareness.
Process the Distress: Lower the emotional "charge" of the event so it no longer feels like an active threat.
Restore Balance: Allow your mind-body to finish the processing it couldn't complete at the time of the trauma, finally storing the memory as an event from the past and restoring overall wellbeing.
-
Yes. EMDR is highly effective via secure video platforms. We use visual cues on your screen or "butterfly taps" with the hands to provide the necessary stimulation, allowing you to do this deep work from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
-
While single-incident trauma may resolve in 3 to 6 sessions, Complex Trauma typically requires a longer-term commitment. Many clients find that a series of 12 to 24 sessions (or more) allows for the deep, sustainable reprocessing of multiple chapters of life.
Eco-Therapy
Eco or nature-based therapy moves therapeutic process out of the office and into the natural world, recognizing that our well-being is deeply tied to our connection with our environment. In these sessions, nature acts as a co-therapist, providing a space to be deeply supported, nourished, and present.
-
Who is Ecotherapy For?
Ecotherapy is designed for those who feel "stuck" in traditional indoor settings and are ready to use the natural world as a catalyst for deep, nervous system healing. It is an active, grounded approach for anyone navigating:
Chronic Stress and Burnout: If you feel perpetually "on edge" or drained by the demands of modern life, nature provides the sensory input needed to shift your body from survival mode into a state of rest and recovery.
Complex Trauma and Dissociation: For those recovering from C-PTSD, the outdoors offer a safe, expansive space to practice being present in your body without the confinement of four walls.
Preconception and Pregnancy Prep: This work is especially effective for women preparing their bodies for pregnancy. Through guided nature-based rituals, mindfulness and movement, we create a space to align with the wisdom of the natural world, creating a receptive internal environment that help clearing the mental and physical "slate" before moving into motherhood.
Intergenerational and Attachment Healing: Nature serves as a powerful mirror for growth and resilience, helping you reprogram limiting beliefs and break intergenerational cycles in a space that feels neutral and supportive.
Life Transitions:In the face of life transitions or loss, nature can provides the sensory input needed to resolve lingering distress in the nervous system.
-
Based on your therapeutic goals, we create a personalized nature-based ritual that supports your connection to yourself and the world around you.
This may include mindfulness practices, journaling, creative arts, and movement to support emotional processing and nervous system regulation.
My work is for you if..
You experience the world a bit differently than those around you, and it hasn’t always been easy. While I work with a number of lived experiences, I primarily work with insightful, highly sensitive women and queer adults who are successful and high-functioning, but internally are struggling with feeling a sense of purpose, belonging, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.
Many of my clients work in healthcare, technology, and creative fields—people who are thoughtful, capable, and used to carrying more than they let on. Together, we create a space where you can soften, slow down, and begin to listen inward again, gently untangling patterns, reconnecting with your body, and finding a rhythm that feels more like your own.
